Fellowship

We welcome all seekers, no matter your stage in life or how you are living it! There is coffee hour every Sunday, a time to deepen existing friendships and greet newcomers. Our Rector hosts dinners at the rectory regularly as a chance for parishioners to gather together for a meal. Our Sunday School families have “pizza in the yard” gatherings several times a year. Committees are a great way to spend time together and get to know others in fellowship as well. Other annual events include:

• Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper

• Lenten Fish Fry fundraiser for Mission

• Last Sunday of Sunday School celebration and picnic

• Our worship and picnic at the river (on the Hastings waterfront) in September

• The Blessing of the Animals in the fall, where we celebrate creation and remember our close connection to nature

• The greening of the church for Christmas, followed by caroling at a local nursing home

• Our children’s Christmas Pageant held on the Sunday before Christmas

• Periodic special Coffee Hours and pot luck meals connected to important parish events
